Art Director & Visual Creator | Co-Founder, The 22 Studio | VJing · Installations · Image-Making I'm a multidisciplinary art director and visual creative based in Barcelona, co-running The 22 Studio ; a founder-led creative production space where design, live visuals, and experimental practice collide. Day-to-day, I lead on creative direction and project management across photography, video, and experimental installations. That means shaping concepts, styling sets, directing shoots, and keeping the whole operation moving ; from first brief to final delivery. Alongside the production work, I plan and organise the studio's workshop programme, hosting practitioners and creatives who bring their own expertise and skills into the space. Before founding The 22 Studio, I spent over a decade in UK film and television art departments ; working as a stand-by art director, graphic designer, and assistant designer on productions including Life on Mars, Shameless, West is West, and the BAFTA-winning Housewife, 49. That world taught me to think fast, work under pressure, and hold an uncompromising standard for visual quality. Today, I channel all of that into a contemporary practice rooted in design, live visuals, and creative experimentation. I'm drawn to work that is tactile, collaborative, and driven by strong visual language ; the kind that leaves a mark.

As a small founder-led team, I lead on both creative direction and day-to-day operations, meaning I’m involved at every stage, from initial concept through to final delivery. My role includes: * Developing and directing creative concepts for photo and video projects * Supporting the creation of high-quality video content across a range of formats * Coordinating project timelines, logistics, and client communication * Managing bookings, enquiries, and the daily running of the studio * Styling sets, sourcing props, and preparing the space for shoot days * Overseeing brand identity, visual content, and promotional materials * Collaborating with my partner on strategy, planning, and creative execution Running a two-person studio means adapting to many roles, and I enjoy the balance of creative leadership, hands-on production, and close collaboration.
