I like the challenge of developing innovative products. Designing products that significantly improves the user experience is the goal of my work. To do that, I have developed specialist skills within conceptualisation. This includes concept overview structures, root cause analysis, ideation and problem solving tools Starting from analysing user needs and existing products, I develop innovative products. Often, my solutions can be patented to protect the IPR. Currently, I am holding 28 patents. I am a mechanical engineer / mechatronics engineer with lots of experience within medical devices. I have primarily constructed mechanisms in plastic. My specialist skills also includes facilitation of creative concept development workshops (100+) and sprints within concept development and problem solving.
Development of next generation continence products. Development of next generation device for bowel management.
Development of injection devices for fluid and lyophilized drugs. Systematic exploration of technical and MMI opportunities. Developing conceptual directions and concepts. Evaluation, selection and maturation of the most promising concepts into device solutions. Planning/facilitaion of the concept development process. Robustness disciplines to ensure high quality: tolerance analysis, choise of materials, FEA and kinematics. Injection molded plastic is the primary construction material. Responsible for identifying and patenting of innovations in projects. Contact and follow-up with patent department Development and test of of lubrication systems.
Development of innovative device concepts Performing "Innovation Boot Camps" and "Sommer Camps" Supporting projects with idea generation and problem solving. Responsible for decorating "Idé huset" - a creative meeting facility at Novo Nordisk in Hillerød.
Chairman for Krea112 - a group of creative 8-10 creative facilitators. 100+ workshop facilitations (ideation, problem solving, gap analysis, strategy, … ) Learning creativity tools, picking the most relevant for Device Development, publishing a booklet and teaching the relevant tools to the organisation. Facilitating problem solving and ideation sessions. Decoration of 5 creative spaces in the Device R&D area
