Radhika is an experienced Data Engineer with a work experience in the data driven industries. Range of experience includes working from product companies in tech to agile e-commerce unicorn companies and currently in the Financial Industry. Tech stack she is skilled in includes Python, Java, Scala, Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop ecosystem, Linux Based Operating Systems, along side using modern public cloud platforms like AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud Platform(theoretical for GCP). Her Academic qualifications include degrees in Master of Technology (M.Tech.) focused in Software Engineering from School Of Computer Science, DAVV, Indore and Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) focussed in Computer Science and Engineering from MITM Indore(Affiliated with RGTU Bhopal).
Working on the MOT risk project to work on analytics project for calculating risk score. Responsibilities:- • While joining back the team as a Senior Engineer, I am now undertaking more responsibilities than my first tenure, to contribute to the release and deployment activities. • Also, I am now independently leading the MOT risk project and working with the stakeholders and also delegating the responsibilities at times to the junior members of the team. • Written pipelines in Spark using Scala APIs with SparkSQL as downstream to serve data to Business users in Maria DB for reporting for credit risks and fraud preventive systems for the MOT Risk business of the bank • Tech Stack: Hive, Spark Scala, Spark SQL, PySpark, Maria DB, Github, Jenkins, Inhouse tool-Sparkola.
For DBS Bank(November 2020 - May 2024) Project ADA:- Worked on migrating the codebase from Hadoop 2 to Hadoop 3 cluster. This new cluster is integrated in DBS with Data Protection products and Uses Spark 3. Project MOT Risk: 1. Working on writing pipelines in Spark using Scala APIs with Hive as downstream to serve data to Business users in Maria DB for reporting for credit risk and fraud preventive systems. 2. Increasing the coverage of unit and integrated testing which helped in further stabilizing the existing systems in view of new features/pipelines development. Tech Stack:- Hive, Spark-Scala, Spark SQL, Maria DB, Kubernetes, Github, Inhouse tool-Sparkola For Standard Chartered Bank(May 2024 - December 2024):- Worked on Liquidity risk project to calculate LCR related data by generating various reports consisting of High Quality liquid assets numbers and total net cash outflows. This ensures banks have sufficient high quality liquid assets to cover their short-term liquidity needs. • Built data pipelines that extract data from disparate data sources to generate insightful reports for the business users. • Worked on creating an ingestion framework which semi-automates loading data from source to downstream destination in Hive. • Worked in developing control-m jobs for scheduling. • Mentored junior members of the team to unblock and give technical guidance. • Built CICD pipelines using Jenkins and worked on maintaining test case quality via Sonarscan. • Tech Stack: Hive, Spark Scala, Spark SQL, PySpark, Github, Jenkins, Sonarscan.
