Actively engage in raising awareness around global health issues and promoting equitable healthcare solutions. I am interested in exploring how research can inform both health policy and clinical practice on a broader, international scale. I co-authored an article in GM Journal, a peer-reviewed medical journal. Interested in the high mortality rates of BAME healthcare workers in the Covid-19 pandemic, I designed and distributed an online survey investigating their concerns, suggestions and experiences working on the frontline. With over two hundred respondents including doctors, nurses and other healthcare staff, the survey generated strong opinion. Conducting my research and statistical analysis required me to work systematically to a short deadline, under guidance from my mentors.
