I'm a champion for home-grown brands and businesses at heart. After several internships with major multinational advertising networks where I learned how to be a guardian for international and regional brands across automotive, FMCG, healthcare and retail segments, I joined a home-grown agency to grow a household home-grown brand, with a very talented home-grown team. This passion followed me into the public sector. I now partner Singapore’s logistics community and stakeholders across public and private segments to help home-grown logistics players scale and pursue growth opportunities on the global stage.
Leveraging my experience in supply chain and logistics, I focus on growing global traders in pulses, as well as consumer goods such as cosmetics and alcohol.
I took on additional responsibilities as an account manager, further to my human capital capability development scope. In my new capacity, I engaged C-suite/leadership teams within companies in the project logistics, heavy lift and sensitive cargo space to drive industry and enterprise development through: - Strengthening project logistics companies' abilities to pursue growth through capability development, innovation, digitalisation and internationalisation, by assessing suitable financial and non-financial assistance tailored to companies' specific needs. - Identifying strategic opportunities that support new capability development in companies with project logistics abilities, sometimes in collaboration with other agencies. - Developing programmes to mitigate talent challenges faced by the heavy lift segment and provide feedback on issues, in collaboration with other agencies.
As account lead for day-to-day work for StarHub Cable Vision: - Led and managed Always On work and certain seasonal and trade show campaigns, across paid print, digital and social platforms. - Built and sustained relationships with key clients, vendors and various partners. - Advised key clients on timeline and budget, and ensured development of deliverables based on these factors.
Freelance on-ground PR and brand ambassadorship for various brands/companies/events: - Cultivated positive relationships with target publics - Encouraged positive brand reputation and recall among target publics - Educated target publics on key products/brand messages - Supported staff in on-ground operations
Supported the account management team in planning and executing public relations strategies for healthcare clients like Stiefel, the DARE (Dispatcher-Assisted first REsponder) Programme, ICON SOC and Elsevier. Key responsibilities included a mix of online community management, social media monitoring, content planning, as well as desk research on healthcare trends and insights.
Supported my team on daily planning and execution of launch and hygiene campaigns for the Toyota line, carried by Borneo Motors Singapore (BMS).
