My role within the company is two fold, customer care and business development management, which incorporates all aspects of office administration, staff development and target achievement as well as sales and marketing development, reviewing and working with existing and prospective new clients from opening enquiry through the sales process.
As Distribution Manager I was responsible for monitoring warehousing and logistics processes, inventory control and reconciliation for 3 warehouses, 2 in the UK, 1 in Holland. To manage the order processing team on a daily basis, problem solve issues and ensure that customer service is at an optimal level. I was involved in developing internal systems and have 4 years of experience working with Oracle. As part of my role communication was key, and I liased daily with stock controllers/buyers, warehouses, and our own internal departments.
