I’m responsible for leading our incredible Global InDay team, bringing Culture Camp to life - among many other culture initiatives. MY BACKGROUND My background is a blend of consulting, recruiting, training, marketing, event planning, and fundraising - at LinkedIn I'm not only able to use skills from each of those areas - but I'm challenged to grow & develop in new areas. The ability to transform your career trajectory is something that is very important at LinkedIn - and I see evidence that this is true across the company every day. Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest youth mentoring organization in the United States - Organized and managed all aspects of fundraising events, including three of San Francisco’s largest fundraisers: Bowl for Kids’ Sake ($40,000), Famous Match ($30,000), Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ($25,000) - Created marketing strategies and materials, recruited and managed volunteers, developed sponsorship packages and obtained sponsorships - Coordinated Bowl for Kids’ Sake program including managing the online fundraising system (Kintera), conducting corporate outreach, managing bowling events and organizing related logistics - Managed donor communications - Organized event committees for each major fundraiser, working jointly with board members
