About

Inclusion isn’t just a value—it’s been the driving force behind my 16-year career in accessibility and 5 years in UX design. With a background that uniquely blends art, animation, storytelling and over a decade as an ASL interpreter for Deaf and DeafBlind communities, I bring a human-centered, equity-driven lens to everything I design. As a person with a disability, I’m proud to build with, not just for, the disability community—creating accessible, innovative solutions that truly improve lives. From collaborating with Fortune 500 companies like Disney, Best Buy, and AT&T to working on award-winning inclusive technologies, I’ve led and contributed to cross-functional projects that span wearable tech, e-commerce, AR and entertainment. Some highlights: Senior Accessibility Design Manager | Led the design and accessibility strategy for a TTS platform redefining how Deaf and non-speaking users make phone calls. Best Buy | Designed and launched an Assistive Technology shopping experience and co-authored the company’s Accessibility Charter. AT&T 5G Helmet | Consulted on an AR helmet that enables real-time communication for Deaf athletes. SoundWatch (Makeability Lab) | Designed for a sound-recognition smartwatch app; winner of the Best Artifact Award from Microsoft Research. I also serve on the Board of Directors at Lighthouse for the Blind, helping shape a more inclusive future through advocacy. Let’s connect if you’re passionate about building inclusive products, designing for impact, or pushing the boundaries of accessibility and innovation.
