Udine, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy
As a freelance cultural professional, I deal with the design, management and production of artistic projects and programs, supporting the contamination between sectors, participative projects and artistic interventions in communities, companies, schools etc. to support social change, enable new possible perspectives on reality and to promote psycho-phisical wellbeing. Together with Altreforme I deal with filmmaking, especially supporting productions inbetween art and cinema. I am proudly part of Art Workers Italia.
With the Cultural Association Etrarte, of which I am currently also President, I am active in the curatorship, coordination and fundraising for art projects in Friuli Venezia-Giulia. The main areas of interest are the interaction between contemporary artists and the various spheres of civic society: urban regeneration and public art projects in specific territories, unconventional educational interventions, workshops and artistic residencies in fragile communities or with specific users, projects with companies and the local productive fabric.
Altreforme has been involved in research and development in the field of contemporary art since 2002, collaborating with museums and foundations and organising art events. In 2008, it started the production of creative films and documentaries, mostly in the fields of art, history and culture.
Ephemera is the festival of Immaterial Culture, this year in its second edition. A series of events dedicated to music, sound art, artist residencies, visual arts, and artistic and somatic workshops, crosses Friuli Venezia Giulia, touching upon garrisons of the contemporary and natural contexts of rare beauty: from Moggio Udinese and Verzegnis to Rosazzo, passing through Udine and Gorizia to reach Trieste and Venice. The project is supported by public and private institutions and is produced together with a wonderful network of partners and cultural professionals.
