I am in my final year of Medical Science at ATU Galway, majoring in Microbiology and Biochemistry. During my third-year work placement at University Hospital Waterford, I completed 1,000 hours, gaining valuable experience across key laboratory areas, including Transfusion, Haematology, Microbiology, Histology, Biochemistry, and Immunology. My previous role as a receptionist at a busy holiday park, where I checked guests in and handled complaints, helped me develop strong time-management, communication, and leadership skills. I am also an avid runner and have completed the Galway Bay Half Marathon.
