Head of School role for the London and KSS speciality training programme for public health. management of the school and the faculty, academic links, negotiation with lead employers and development of the vision for the school moving into 2020 and beyond. Head of Academy is a unique role with a focus on the wider public health workforce. the academy leads on a range of areas with a view to developing relationships and convening leaders to ensure the public health workforce is part of the transformation agenda and integrated into future planning.
Portfolio includes lead for Healthy Places, HIAP - including commercial determinants of health, Food Poverty, Regeneration and Economic Development, Planning and local plan development, Consultant lead for PH migrant heakth, suicide prevention andbpubluc mental health. Also work closely with the neighbourhood agenda which is a developing space. Educational Supervisor for trainees supporting Barnet as a training location for PH trainees, GP trainees and National Local Government Management Trainees.
