About

I have been an administrator for a variety of businesses since school - including lawyers, food manufacturers, sheep meat exporters and most recently the electricity industry. My strengths are following processes, attention to detail and the drive to ensure things are correct. An understanding of the business as a whole and where my role fits into that success is important to me. I like to make the job my own and I'm not afraid to ask questions. I am proficient with Microsoft Office and have used a variety of database programmes.

Experience

  • Customer Service Representative at Genesis
    Oct 2022 - Present · 3 yrs 10 mos

Customer Service Representative in the Exceptions Team. Primarily dealing with communication faults in advanced meters.

  • Line Inspection Coordinator at The Lines Company
    Apr 2015 - Apr 2022 · 7 yrs 1 mo

I started with The Lines Company in their Accounts and Billing department, taking customer enquiries. 18 months later I moved in to the Credit Team where I still dealt with customers, however on a more focused basis. In September 2017 I transferred to the Asset Management Group as the Line Inspection Coordinator. The role required a high level of accuracy and a good understanding of the electricity network, as I was responsible for the day to day update of the network assets. The role also required me to coordinate the company line inspectors, ensuring they were efficiently deployed. I was also responsible for preparing work instructions for engineering review.

  • Livestock Administrator at TE KUITI MEAT PROCESSORS LIMITED
    Jul 2000 - Apr 2015 · 14 yrs 10 mos

The role required me to process daily kill sheets for suppliers of lamb to the company. I was also responsible for checking each mob of stock met the requirements set by MPI by way of an Animal Status Declaration. Payments for stock were generated on a 14-day cycle and agent commissions paid on a monthly basis. Daily costs reported to management along with monthly reports on stock intake. Each year Supplier bonus payments were calculated and I was responsible for preparing awards for top suppliers along with organising the dinner and the prizes.
