With over 20 years of experience in education, I have served in various roles, including special education teacher, instructional coach, mentor, and special education facilitator. I have developed a strong passion for supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive educational environments throughout my career. I am seeking an administrative position where I can contribute to a culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. I am proficient in both oral and written communication and have experience organizing and facilitating professional development sessions. I am skilled at leading student problem-solving meetings and collaborating with committees that focus on the needs of diverse learners. I taught 8:1:1 classroom. One year I taught a high school classroom and the remainder of the time I taught elementary classroom and started up a technology program at the school by purchasing and setting up: devices, assistive technology, Google accounts, and safety screen readers. Coordinate student's IEP and every day needs with social workers, specialist, staff, families, and students. Work towards increasing growth socially/emotionally, academically, and daily living skills. Design and implement project based learning that is aligned with IL state and common core standards.
