As a volunteer tutor with The Education Project, my goal was to increase students' access to high quality, free virtual tutoring services while supporting their learning and development.
I supported research on piezoelectricity-stimulated chondrogenesis of adipose-derived stem cells for injection via hydrogel with the intent of reversing effects of arthritis in the lab of Dr. Thanh Nguyen.
My shifts entailed assisting with patient care duties, running rapid fluid tests, and taking patients' vitals. As a manager I was also responsible for hiring, training, disciplining, and scheduling the student staff.
