For the past 16 years, I have experienced multiple levels and positions in Education. Through this experience, I have gained understanding in a variety of skills such as public speaking, leadership, management, and adaptability.
International Bachelorette Middle Years Program Arts (6th-8th), Arts Liaison, K-5 Visuals Arts instructor
-Responsible for creating and implementing curriculum for: traditional art, digital art, and Collegiate level art. -Mentor teacher for the USC student teaching program -Instructed students in numerous visual based technologies
-Organized departmental meetings -Facilitated financial distributions -Collected information and concerns regarding school policies for administrative consideration -Mentored new teachers within the department
-Initiated, sought funding, and implemented the school’s first Digital Media Arts program -Created and instructed professional development courses for colleagues involving technology and arts integration -Responsible for creating and implementing curriculum for Digital and Business/Marketing Art and Traditional Fine Art. -Member of the school’s Technology Implementation committee -Founded and administered Fresh Start Initiative, a program devoted to providing school materials for students-in-need through community involvement
