Before commencing my studies at University I was selected through an interview process to attend a weeks work experience at Johnston Carmichael; in the Inverness firm. Here I gained valuable insight into the specific areas of accountancy, such as; taxation and auditing. Throughout my week at the firm I developed a deeper understanding on my field of studies by gaining hands on experience conducting various different jobs within the firm.
