I am dedicated, organised and hard working. I love getting involved in societies at college and particularly my hockey team - these have taught me to interact well with others and blossomed a love for meeting new people in me. I would thrive in a customer facing, skilful role, such as retail or hospitality. I've just finished my gap year where I worked and traveled. I am 20 years old, first year student and am currently looking for a part-time job while I am at college. I study Social Sciences at the University of Galway.
Working in a busy restaurant in Salthill, Galway. A great atmosphere to work in with friendly staff and opening opportunities.
Promoting LUX club nights and various merchandising roles. Being part of a great team and all learning to work together in new roles. I was able to travel around Ulster and had opportunities to work with Down Royal Racecourse.
Placement student working with Youth Work Ireland, helping to contribute to the improvement of the community through working with young people and building a future for them.
During my time at Boots, I brought what I had learnt through my previous retail job. This allowed me to learn different tasks quickly and efficiently. These tasks included manning the till, managing stock, food/fridge training and most importantly - customer care. I enjoyed working with the public in such a busy role and always looked forward to going to work.
