This position, available to only select students, is provided through my George Washington Fellowship at Hillsdale College. My research with the department includes, but is not limited to: Collaborating with President Larry Arnn on his banner project, the Churchill Project Transcribing scholarly articles and letters from French to English Engaging with original source documents by Rousseau
I worked as a research fellow for The George Washington University Regulatory Studies Center, under the leadership of Susan Dudley. My research included the following: Collaborated with Center scholars to publish commentaries and journal articles on DOE and EPA regulations Tracked and analyzed data on regulatory action for a peer-reviewed publication on privacy research Worked closely with Director Susan Dudley on her yearly publication, The Regulator’s Budget
This position gave me amazing insight on the budget process, and allowed me to utilize both my economics and political science majors. During my time on the Committee, I managed varying priorities and multiple projects. My work included the following: Spearheaded a project compiling Affordable Care Act repeal reconciliation legislation briefs Interacted professionally with Senator Enzi and staff committee members Created the first of its kind legislative database for the Committee
