I am an Operations Manager for Prison Education with over 11 years’ experience working across the justice and education sectors. My background spans both frontline delivery and senior management, having worked as an educator before moving into operational leadership roles. In my current role, I support education delivery across nine prisons in Scotland, with responsibility for workforce planning and recruitment, project delivery, partnership development, and performance management. I work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, learner-centred provision within complex custodial environments. Prior to working in prison education, I was a secondary school teacher and a college lecturer. I hold degrees in History, English, and Professional Education, and bring a strong pedagogical foundation to my operational and strategic work.
