Thrilled to have completed my internship at the Mauritius Cane Industry Authority (MCIA)! As part of the Crop Management Department → Drone Unit, I had the opportunity to: 🔹 Learn in-depth about sugarcane growth stages 🔹 Understand key crop management practices used in Mauritius 🔹 Explore herbicides and weed management strategies 🔹 Observe drone-based crop monitoring and spraying processes 🔹 Assist with field inspections and data collection This internship gave me hands-on exposure to how technology supports sustainable agriculture in Mauritius. I’m grateful to the MCIA team for their continuous support and guidance. Looking forward to applying these skills to future opportunities!
