About

Welcome to my profile! I'm Quiteria Clarice Magalhães Carvalho, a passionate public health professional dedicated to enhancing community health and wellbeing. With a PhD in Public Health from Universidade Federal do Ceará, Brazil, I have a rich background in nursing, education, and administration. 👩‍🏫 From 2010 to 2016, I had the privilege of shaping future healthcare professionals as a Nursing Professor at Centro Universitario Estacio, where I taught mental and primary health to undergraduate students. My passion for education extends beyond the classroom, focusing on empowering students with the knowledge and skills they need to make a significant impact. 🏥 My administrative capabilities were fully utilized from 2019 to 2022 when I managed the Olavo Bilac Elderly Care Home in Ceará, Brazil. Here, I oversaw a multidisciplinary team of 140 professionals, providing care and support to 85 senior residents in vulnerable situations. This role not only honed my leadership skills but also deepened my commitment to compassionate care. 🛍️ I am also an entrepreneur at heart, having successfully launched and managed a women’s wear boutique in 2017. This experience sharpened my business acumen and understanding of market dynamics. 🌍 A Brazilian native now residing in Toronto, Canada, I am fluent in Portuguese and conversational in English. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy music, hiking, and traveling—each adventure providing me with fresh perspectives and renewed energy. ✨ I’m here on LinkedIn to connect with like-minded professionals and explore opportunities that leverage my expertise in healthcare, education, and management. Let’s make a difference together!
