About

I am a driver of global-scale business growth and technology transformation, focusing on ethics, risk management, sustainability (environmental, social, and economic), and emerging technologies. I consider myself a true “global citizen,” with a unique international perspective and a deep cultural understanding, having grown up in South Africa and moving to the USA mid-career to build global teams serving customers around the world. I am known for bringing deep insights into emerging technology and its implications for organizations and guiding the application of Artificial Intelligence to businesses in an ethical way, considering governance and leadership implications. I have a unique ability to combine risk management, sustainability, and ethics while simultaneously taking advantage of the latest mega-tech trends. A transformational IT leader and advisor. Based on my doctoral research, I am well-positioned to consult and guide organizations on their practical and ethical use of AI by considering both the risks and opportunities afforded by this technology. I invest in the next generation of leaders through teaching and mentoring graduate business students in the effective and ethical use of technology. After retiring from Deloitte and completing my doctoral studies, I am now seeking opportunities in three areas. First, as an advisory council and board member helping organizations to achieve their goals. Second, as a teacher and mentor of the next generation of technology-savvy leaders, and third, as a research-based, practice-centered consultant able to help businesses innovate in creative, ethical ways. Contact me to discuss.
