About

I'm an atmospheric scientist leading ground-based remote sensing and atmospheric profiling activities in Belgium, including responsibility for the national Automatic LIDAR-Ceilometer network. I actively contribute to major European initiatives (EUMETNET E-PROFILE, COST Actions TOPROF & PROBE) and participate in the ICOS scientific community as a member of the External Users Committee (Wallonia). I serve as an expert at the Belgian Federal Crisis Centre for atmospheric dispersion monitoring in case of accidental radionuclide releases. My field experience includes participation in scientific campaigns in Antarctica (BELARE). I'm also engaged in international scientific networks through Sigma Xi (full-membership) and the Belgian National Committee for Geodesy and Geophysics (BNCGG, associate member), contributing to interdisciplinary collaboration in Earth system sciences.
