Construction Manager | Piping & Mechanical Engineering | International Infrastructure Projects I'm a Construction Manager with a strong engineering background and more than nine years of hands-on experience leading major infrastructure and energy projects across Europe and the Middle East. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work on everything from Saudi Aramco installations deep in the desert to Baltic Pipe stations in Denmark and large-scale Gasunie projects in Germany — blending technical know-how with practical, on-the-ground leadership. I hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Civil) from KU Leuven, along with a diploma in International Welding Engineering. During my studies, I also spent time in France on an Erasmus exchange at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, which gave me an early taste of working across borders and cultures — something that’s shaped the way I approach projects today. Throughout my career, I’ve led multidisciplinary teams, managed projects from prefabrication all the way to handover, and worked closely with major players like Gasunie, Saudi Aramco, and GRTgaz. At Denys, I grew from a Welding Engineer into a Project Manager over eight years, and today I’m continuing to manage exciting projects with SPIE Belgium. I specialize in piping and mechanical works, welding engineering, QA/QC, and full project and site management. I’m passionate about connecting the technical details with the bigger picture — making sure complex projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. I enjoy working across borders, coordinating EPC works, and leading teams with a focus on collaboration and trust. Looking ahead, I’m keen to keep contributing to innovative, large-scale projects where engineering makes a real difference — especially in the energy, pipeline, and infrastructure sectors.
OstWind3 for client 50Hertz - a 4.3 km cable project near Lubmin, Germany, involving one AC system with DN250 HDPE pipes and two DC systems with DN280 HDPE pipes. The project included two microtunnel drillings and six HDD crossings per system, combining complex underground engineering with precise execution across challenging conditions.
