I'm a mathematician — M.Sc. from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), specializing in abstract algebra and geometry — with a deep conviction that the most interesting problems today live at the intersection of formal rigor and real-world impact. My master's thesis tackled the Oppenheim Conjecture; my daily reality involves shell scripts, AI workflows, and thinking carefully about what technology does to society. My path here was not straight, and I consider that a feature. Before settling into pure mathematics, I studied physics and mechanical engineering, trained for years at conservatory level in classical guitar, ran a small outdoor sports rental business, tutored students across disciplines, and spent a summer in large-scale logistics at Daimler. Each chapter taught me something the next one needed. The thread connecting all of it is the ability — and genuine drive — to immerse myself completely in a new domain and come out the other side with something useful. On the technical side: I work daily in the Unix terminal, write shell scripts and Python, am comfortable across macOS, Linux and Windows, and have hands-on experience with data analysis in R and numerical computing in MATLAB and Mathematica. Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are familiar ground. I follow AI developments closely and apply current models practically — not as a spectator. What I'm looking for is work that matters. My primary interest is in public-sector roles at the intersection of cybersecurity, digital forensics, and AI — institutions like the BKA, BSI or the DFKI, where technical depth serves a clear social purpose. I'm also drawn to science communication and education: making complex things genuinely understandable is a skill I've built across years of one-on-one teaching, and it's one I want to keep using.
