- Developing software for the public sector as part of HM Courts & Tribunals Service, using Java.
- Developed core technology for Magpie; the leading market intelligence engine, delivering real-time data to many of the world's biggest telecommunication, retailer and smartphone brands. - Powered Magpie using PHP, and some JavaScript to build its back-end infrastructure and web-scraping technologies. - Worked on the development of a new proprietary data collection system that led the expansion of the business into a new domain, doubling profits. - Performed data analysis and verification to ensure that clients received data that was the most accurate and reliable at any given time.
- Worked on the HMRC account, testing numerous aspects of a newly developed system for StudentFinanceEngland. - Testing was conducted in a TMMi Level 5 environment. - Created testing files using data obtained via analysis of SQL-based relational databases. - Improved quality of the code-base by conducting E2E testing on numerous modules, exposing bugs earlier in the development cycle. - Worked towards revamping the automation testing system, which helped to drastically improve productivity by as much as 25% via more efficient allocation of time and resources spent on a project. - Authored some documentation for internal use, giving an overview of the automation process.
