• Coordinate and direct all aspects of technical office operations for the Xanga Logistic Build Warehouse Project valued at €12,495,420 and the Polgar Precast Facility Building Project valued at €24,872,835 to support seamless project execution. • Provide dynamic, high-quality leadership to a three-person planning and cost engineering team while reporting to the Project Manager, directly contributing to effective collaboration and transparent communication. • Maintain meticulous attention to detail while assisting with purchasing and managing the planning system, cost control, and cash flow development to ensure optimal resource utilisation and availability throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare and present routine status updates to project stakeholders, such as the Project Control Supervisor and senior leadership, to support informed decision-making and planning. • Adapt to quickly changing priorities and execute sound decisions in complex and ambiguous environments.
• Orchestrated and managed technical office operations for the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Project aimed at developing the tallest building in Europe measuring 360 meters with antenna towers, consisting of 69 floors, spanning a total area of 15,960 square meters, and exceeding 3.684B TL in value. • Built a cohesive and collaborative work environment while overseeing a team of five planning and cost engineers. • Owned full accountability for overseeing cost control and cash flow development inclusive of preparing quarterly budget reports, analysing costs (labour, machinery, materials, indirect expenses, etc.), rationalising project cost codes, and developing a cost coding structure to support project execution in line with budgetary objectives. • Supported the Project Control Supervisor with performance and progress reporting; utilized P6 for planning and reporting, while our reports were on PowerPoint and Excel. • Produced detailed forecasts and analytical insights, such as performing actual vs. budget analysis as well as preparing S-curve/manpower histograms and forward-looking schedules on a weekly and monthly basis. • Assessed and monitored performance to ensure optimal efficiency; prepared detailed performance reports. • Handled project administration tasks, such as preparing client progress payment reports.
• Headed planning and reporting to support the Peninsula Istanbul Hotel Project worth €9,344,777 and with a budget of €3M aimed at restoring, renovating, and developing infrastructure and F/O works for three existing and one new building. • Charted the successful creation of a two-phase project plan consisting of an S&C phase and F/O works phase, including millwork and finishing work for guestrooms and corridors; utilised Primavera to develop the level IV project plan. • Played a key role in driving seamless project execution by proactively identifying and addressing obstacles, risks, and issues by implementing corrective actions, which included resolving communication issues between central management and the construction site, ensuring a smooth flow of information; additionally, identified significant errors and ensured that our cost reports were generated with accurate information. • Prevented variances from project schedule, performance, and budget expectations through reporting and on-site monitoring, including evaluating the performance of on-site staff to strengthen productivity.
