An Internet industry professional with over 30 years of technical, policy and leadership experience in Internet services, technology, development and governance; serving for over 20 years as Director General of APNIC (the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre), the Regional Internet address Registry (RIR) for the Asia Pacific region. Serving as an active member of a wide range of demanding international committees and boards including: - Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG), - IANA stewardship transition Coordination Group (ICG), - Wuzhen World Internet Conference (WIC) High-level Advisory Committee, - APrIGF multistakeholder steering group (as Chair for several years), - Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) Advisory Board, - "I*" leaders group, including representatives of RIRs, ISOC, ICANN, IETF, IAB and others, - Number Resource Organisation (NRO) Executive Council.
