I am a technologist and leader with over 25 years of experience advancing digital trust, specializing in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM), cryptographic agility, and compliance. Throughout my career, I have grown and strengthened communities, raised awareness, shaped global standards, and influenced policy, working across industry groups, regulators, and enterprises to build secure, scalable trust ecosystems. I combine deep technical expertise with strategic and commercial vision, from designing secure-by-design systems to scaling global trust platforms and advising on regulatory frameworks. I have a proven track record of driving business model innovation, expanding international markets, and turning emerging technologies into viable, revenue-generating solutions. Passionate about advancing digital trust, I am seeking opportunities to apply my unique blend of technical, strategic, and leadership skills to complex challenges, whether in a full-time role or as a trusted advisor.
As CEO & Founder of Digitorus, I develop and maintain digital signature and certificate tools, empowering secure digital interactions. I actively contribute to open-source software, improving functionality, security, and community. My consultancy services, which are infrequent in nature, focus on PKI, security, and trust services, serving a wide range of clients, including startups, enterprises, certification authorities, trust service providers, government agencies, and investment firms. These consulting activities are carefully managed to avoid any conflict of interest with other professional engagements.
As Chair of the Post-Quantum Cryptography Working Group at the PKI Consortium, I lead bi-weekly calls to coordinate cross-industry collaboration on quantum-safe readiness. I organize and chair the annual hybrid PQC Conference, hosted in rotating global locations, bringing together leaders from academia, government, and industry. I also work to integrate PQC priorities across the Consortium’s broader initiatives to ensure alignment and accelerate ecosystem-wide preparedness.
As Chair of the PKI Consortium, I lead strategic coordination across all working groups, empowering their chairs and aligning global efforts to advance trust in digital infrastructure. I revitalized the Consortium, growing membership to hundreds of diverse, high-impact organizations across industry, government, and academia. I architected and deployed automated membership systems, significantly improving operational efficiency, and transformed the Consortium’s website from WordPress to Hugo, adding robust, data-driven capabilities to enhance transparency and engagement. The Consortium unites leading stakeholders to define and drive PKI-related standards, best practices, and tools, while actively engaging regulators, relying parties, and the broader ecosystem to solve real-world security challenges and shape the future of digital trust.
Actively shaping European eIDAS regulation and implementing acts, leading the QWAC working group of the European Signature Dialog (ESD). Providing technical guidance to EU institutions and advocating Entrust and ESD positions on QWACs at industry events. Contributing to open-source linting tools (zlint) and leading IETF Internet-Draft development for certificate agility. Successfully improved compliance and operational governance frameworks. My role is concluding due to Sectigo's acquisition of Entrust's public CA business (no systems, infrastructure, or staff transfer). Exploring new opportunities to leverage this expertise.
