About

Product Manager for the CALMAC Energy Storage Portfolio of Trane. CALMAC has over 4,000 projects in 40 different countries with over 1GW of energy storage installed. Energy Storage is a very important piece to optimize buildings for the electricity transformation. Buildings that can de-couple cooling demand from electricity purchases will be more desirable and valuable in the marketplace because of the economic and environmental benefits. Buildings with storage promote renewable energy investments, like wind and solar, because they will have the ability to store energy when the renewable resource is available. Buildings with storage will also be able to take advantage of the saving opportunities that are made available with lower cost nighttime electricity and smart grid programs if or when they become available. Smart buildings with energy storage will promote the use of renewable energy and the smart grid which will help lower our dependance on foreign oil, lower our carbon footprint and help use existing infrastructure more efficiently all while lowering customers cooling costs. Member of ASHRAE, USGBC, LEED AP, Specialties: Marketing, Distribution, and Planning with all involved, implementing and measuring the plan.
