Experience

  • Server and ICT specialist at Punik s.r.o.
    Apr 2019 - Present · 7 yrs 4 mos

Since September 2011, I have decided to stand on my own legs. Not that I would break up with my previous employer in bad, I have just came to conclusion that I can do better than that. :) And as a matter of a fact, I really do. It takes more responsibility, but the benefits of working on one's own dream are worth it. It is my dream, afterall.... o:-) So, let's dust off hands, and get to work!

  • Server specialist at SPIKA, spol. s r.o.
    Apr 2012 - Apr 2012 · 1 mo

A brief "aligning" period, during which I have realized, that working on full-time for Spika would hurt either mine, or Spika clients, and that is something my professional honor didn't allow to happen. When I do something, I try to do it as best as I can, and this would not be best for anybody. :)

  • Server specialist at MiaB Group, s.r.o.
    Aug 2002 - Sep 2011 · 9 yrs 2 mos

IT Support specialist - I have worked my way up from a plain simple HW assembler through HW and SW support person up to Windows-based server specialist. Still keeping the touch of end-point HW and SW support though, I just love and hate the end-users at the same time. :) This is my most current professional experience. I have raised the efficiency bar of how much PC and servers can I service from 30, to the current 230+ PC, and 15+ servers. The trick is simple administrator's paradox - the better You do Your job, the less work You have, because everything is working. ;) And I am good at my job. Far better, than many. :)

  • IT Support at Pavel Trnka - TAT
    Jan 1998 - Dec 2000 · 3 yrs

Salesperson - I have been originally employed as a sales guy, but thanks to my IT abilities, I was soon redefined as a: IT support guy - Although I never "got rid" of the sales position, I was perceived more as a IT support guy for the Prague branch of the company, sometimes going to Moravia to assist the guys there.

  • Industry graphics designer at CTH Design
    Jan 1993 - Dec 1999 · 7 yrs

Graphic designer - I have worked as a graphic designer in the past, I have done a lot of graphic retouching, some creative stuff. As creative, as the client permits - and that is not too much, most of the time. :( ;) I have done and learned what I could at the time, and moved on to the IT business. :) Worked there as a graphics guy, specializing in CD covers, catalogues, and product packaging graphics.
