Hi, I'm Roy. I care about whether programs actually work, whether young people going through them get something real, and whether technology is making any of that better. That belief has shaped every role I have taken. At CoCoon Foundation, I lead delivery and outcomes evaluation for Pursuit of X (formerly MatchBox), a career exploration initiative for young people aged 15 to 25, funded by the D.H. Chen Foundation. Over the past 18 months, we have delivered 5+ signature career events, curated 60+ internships and authentic learning experiences, and partnered with 30+ employers across Hong Kong. The program integrates positive psychology and a digital platform to connect young people with authentic learning experiences. Before that, I spent 17 months running a CLAP@JC funded digital marketing bootcamp for underprivileged youth aged 18 to 29 at Generation: You Employed (HK). Across 7 cohorts, I delivered 10+ career events with employer partners including JobsDB, Apollo, LinkedIn, and PayPal. I am also PMP certified, and the process reshaped how I think about delivering value: good project management is less about following a fixed process and more about reading context, tailoring the approach, and keeping people at the centre. Progress does not always come from moving faster. It comes from learning deliberately along the way. On the side, I run @notionwithroy, where I design Notion workspaces and AI-powered workflows for individuals, teams, and small businesses in Hong Kong. The work spans personal productivity systems, team operating systems, and lightweight automations that connect Notion with the rest of an organisation's stack. Outside work, I read, train powerlifting and MMA, and write about productivity and AI for young professionals in Hong Kong trying to take back control of their work and life. What holds my curiosity now is what AI and data can do for social programs, how better evidence changes the decisions people make, and how technology can genuinely expand what people are able to do with their lives. Staying honest about what I know and what I am still figuring out. Feel free to reach out if any of this resonates. @notionwithroy / roypun.com
