Should I buy two boxes of blueberries at $5.95 from FairPrice? Study Economics after doing STEM in college? Intern in Hong Kong or go on exchange in Denmark? Should I even write this on LinkedIn… or leave it empty? These are just some of the questions I’ve pondered, and still do. Beyond the little things, I’m deeply interested in how people make decisions. From choosing dinner to choosing which mortgage to get, I’m fascinated by the reasoning (and sometimes the lack of it). Over the years, I’ve picked up some tools, from running regressions to applying theories, to better understand these choices. I’ve also learned that biases sneak into our decisions more often than we think. There are endless decisions and infinite ways to understand them. I’m just here, still learning.
