  • Peer Leader at Sunway University
    Mar 2015 - Feb 2017 · 2 yrs

Sunway University is one of the Top 10 Private Higher Education Institution in Malaysia. I was elected and trained to be a peer leader under the Peer Assisted Learning Programme (PALP) when I was a Year 1 student. Peer Leaders are students from Degree Programmes chosen to work with lecturers to assist junior students from Diploma or first year Degree Programmes to negotiate academic and transition challenges. My role as a peer leader is to guide and tutor fellow peers in their studies by providing them extra classes to help enhancing their knowledge in the modules such as Principles of Financial Accounting and Introduction to Economics. Unlike traditional teaching method, PALP focuses on more interactive ways of learning as we believe it will help students to improve their understanding.
