I am the Vice Chancellor at Birmingham City University (BCU). Prior to joining BCU, I was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise) at the University of the Arts London (UAL). Previous roles I have held include Pro Vice Chancellor, Research and Enterprise, at De Montfort University (DMU). Whilst at DMU I also held the post of Pro Vice Chancellor/Dean for the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Media. Other roles include Dean of Engineering at London South Bank University and Associate Dean at Cranfield University’s School of Engineering.
As Dean of Engineering I was responsible for ensuring the School of Engineering remained internationally and nationally renowned for supporting and shaping industry.
