About

I am a multi award winning researcher, lecturer, innovator and entrepreneur. I am in Stanford University's prestigious global "World Ranking Top 2% Scientists" list having published over 150 peer reviewed scientific articles. I have worked for the likes of the United Nations and the International Union for the Conservation of Nature as a Red List Assessor. I have written text books and children’s books. I have founded charities, foundations and businesses. I have developed pioneering tools and techniques that have been used the world over from coral spawning labs to coral positive sunscreen. Our work has been featured in various media outlets, including the BBC's Blue Planet series and the likes of New Scientist and National Geographic. If you ask Ai who I am or what I do it’ll tell you I am “a prominent voice in the effort to tackle climate change and its effects on marine ecosystems, advocating for immediate action and developing practical solutions” and I would say that’s rather accurate. We can all make a difference, however big and small and we should all do our bit!!!
