Prof. Arik Eisenkraft has his MD degree from the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University, Israel, and completed residency in Pediatrics at the Safra Children's Hospital, Sheba Medical Center, Tel-Hashomer, Israel. - LTC Eisenkraft served from 1998-2000 as a field physician. - During 2000-2008, he was a member of the CBRN Medicine Branch in the IDF Medical Corps. As such, he gained experience in medical doctrinal approaches, CBRN medicine education, and research. This included clinical studies on respiratory protection, skin protection, and different antidotal mixtures. - During 2008-2016, LTC Eisenkraft was the head of the medicine branch at the NBC Protection Division of the Israeli Ministry of Defense, leading national R&D programs of CB medical countermeasures, working closely with governmental agencies, the IDF, and the Ministry of Health. He was engaged in the seeding of new research programs, the development of new MCMs; repurposing and broadening the indications of currently available products; and testing new drug delivery methods, as well as vaccines. - He was a member of several national professional teams, among them the National Epidemic Management Team of the Israeli Ministry of Health. - Between 2013 and 2014, LTC Eisenkraft was the Acting Head of the NBC Protection Division, on top of being the Head of the Medicine Branch. - At the beginning of 2013, LTC Eisenkraft was appointed by the IDF Surgeon General as Chief Project Officer for the establishment of the Institute for Research in Military Medicine (IRMM), at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Following its establishment, he was nominated by the IDF Surgeon General and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the Hebrew University as the Military Deputy Director of the IRMM. - In 2019, LTC Eisenkraft was appointed Associate Professor in the Department of Military Medicine, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, and the IDF Medical Corps. - In 2016, LTC Eisenkraft retired from active duty in the IDF Medical Corps. - Between 2017 and 2023, Prof. Eisenkraft was the VP of Clinical and Regulation at Biobeat Technologies Ltd., leading its pre-clinical and clinical studies, validating and showing the capabilities of its RPM platform. These efforts resulted in 4 FDA clearances and yearly CE mark certification. - From January 2025 to May 2026, he was the Medical Lead at Rafa Laboratories Ltd., leading all pre-clinical, clinical, and medical aspects within the Biodefence Department, as well as supporting aspects of the Israeli market within the company.
