I am an academician, researcher, and policy advocate with over two decades of experience in Indoor Air Quality Management (IAQM), currently serving as Assistant Professor at the University of Delhi and Founding Member & National Secretary of the Society for Indoor Environment (SIE). My work sits at the intersection of science, policy, and practice—focusing on indoor environmental quality (IEQ), exposure assessment, and public health. I have contributed to national-level policy development, including IAQ guidelines with the Central Pollution Control Board, and have been involved in international collaborations such as the European Union’s HEALTHVENT project. As an editor, reviewer, and author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, I actively contribute to advancing global discourse on air quality and sustainability. Alongside my academic and research engagements, I lead multi-city IAQ monitoring and ESG-aligned projects across India, working closely with government bodies, institutions, and industry stakeholders. My expertise spans air quality research, policy frameworks, ESG integration, and capacity building, including training programs for Indian Audit and Accounts Service officers. As a certified ESG Impact Leader, I am committed to driving evidence-based solutions that bridge environmental sustainability with health and equity outcomes. I am particularly passionate about building awareness, strengthening institutional capacities, and shaping resilient indoor environments through interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation. I also bring extensive experience in conceptualizing and delivering high-impact international and national conferences, conclaves, and technical workshops on indoor environmental quality and sustainability. I have played key leadership roles in organizing platforms such as the Asian Conference on Indoor Environmental Quality (ACIEQ) and SIE National Conclaves hosted at premier institutions like IIT Delhi, bringing together policymakers, researchers, industry leaders, and practitioners.
