Work including: The preparation and service of contractual notices under the terms of commercial leases and notices under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 e.g. s.25 notices, s.26 notices, s.27 notices to end tenancies Asset management for large property investors Acting for landlords/tenants in uncontested and contested commercial property lease renewals, and progressing court timetables as part of this Recording a minimum of 7.25 billable hours a day
Litigation Paralegal in Financial Services Disputes and Investigations Work including: Defending claims in court for a large high street bank as client, including drafting defences, reviewing particulars of claim, preparing directions questionnaires, draft directions and complying with the timetable, attending court hearings where required and instructing counsel Part of a group testing new legal drafting technology and applying this to live matters where appropriate
Work including: - Interviewing clients to ascertain any potential employment law issues - Researching the relevant law to set out potential solutions - Drafting advice letters to the clients including a summary of issues, solutions and next steps - Signposting to other legal organisations where required
