As a final-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics student at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College, University of Delhi, I enjoy understanding complex problems and approaching them through analytical thinking, structured reasoning, and evidence-based decision-making. Beyond academics, I have consistently sought opportunities to take on leadership responsibilities and collaborate with diverse teams. As the Vice President of the Harish Chandra Mathematical Society, I have worked with a 12-member executive team to organize academic initiatives and large-scale events, coordinating 100+ volunteers and engaging 500+ participants across the University of Delhi. During my internship at SHD Research Foundation, I contributed to two research projects involving fieldwork, data collection, interviews, analysis, and report preparation. Conducting 60 field interviews and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team strengthened my ability to approach real-world challenges systematically and use evidence to support informed decision-making. I am particularly interested in opportunities at the intersection of analytics, business, strategy, and finance, and I am keen to continue learning through internships that challenge me to think critically, work collaboratively, and create meaningful impact. Served as Vice President of the Harish Chandra Mathematical Society, collaborating with a 12-member executive team representing a society of 200+ undergraduate students. Led publicity and outreach initiatives as Social Media & PR Head, managing digital content, event promotions, and sponsorship outreach to enhance the society's visibility. Coordinated the planning and execution of Mathrix, the society's flagship event, engaging 500+ participants from across the University of Delhi. Supervised event operations for the Sudoku competition, working alongside a core organizing team and 15 volunteers to ensure the smooth execution of a 70+ participant competition. Collaborated with faculty members to organize 5–7 expert lectures and talks, facilitating interactions with professors and professionals from India and abroad. Worked closely with faculty advisors, student volunteers, and organizing committees to strengthen student engagement through academic and extracurricular initiatives.
Led the planning and execution of a national academic conference attended by 300+ participants, including students, faculty members, and researchers from institutions across India. Collaborated with a 5-member organizing committee to coordinate event planning, timelines, and execution within a month-long preparation period. Coordinated operations involving 200+ student volunteers, ensuring seamless management of registrations, logistics, attendee movement, and on-ground execution. Worked closely with faculty members to facilitate the participation of 5 keynote speakers and oversee conference proceedings across multiple sessions. Resolved real-time operational challenges by redesigning volunteer deployment and navigation support after last-minute venue changes, ensuring smooth coordination across 6 presentation rooms. Strengthened skills in project management, stakeholder coordination, team leadership, and problem-solving while managing a large-scale academic event.
Contributed to two interdisciplinary research projects involving electoral data analysis and Denotified Tribe (DNT) research. • Conducted 60 primary field interviews and assisted in survey decoding, data cleaning, statistical analysis, and visualization using Microsoft Excel to analyze voter behaviour and identify probabilistic voting trends. • Performed extensive literature reviews on Denotified Tribes by analysing academic research papers and preparing bibliographic notes for an ongoing collaborative research publication. • Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team of 25+ interns and faculty mentors throughout various stages of research, analysis, and documentation. • Strengthened practical skills in research methodology, analytical thinking, data interpretation, stakeholder interaction, and evidence-based decision-making.
