I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Botany, through which I gained a strong foundation in plant anatomy, plant physiology, molecular biology, and plant systematics, along with hands-on laboratory experience. I have also successfully completed a Genetic Engineering course offered by SWAYAM–NPTEL, which enhanced my interdisciplinary learning. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations, where I am developing a clear understanding of core HR concepts. Through continuous fieldwork training, I am gaining practical exposure to various HR functions and industrial relations practices. During my MSW program, I have undertaken multiple research studies. In my first year, I completed a mini-research on job satisfaction among primary school teachers. During my summer internship at NLC India Limited (NLCIL), I conducted a research study on the effectiveness of e-learning among employees of the Learning and Development Centre. Additionally, I carried out a research study on mindfulness and emotional regulation among higher secondary school students, strengthening my research and analytical skills. I am a student member of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Madurai Chapter, and actively participate in monthly professional meetings, with a keen interest in learning more about labour legislations and HR practices. I have a strong inclination towards labour laws and aim to gain in-depth knowledge of the labour codes for future professional application. I aspire to build a career as an HR professional in a well-reputed organisation, where I can continuously learn, apply my knowledge, and gain comprehensive industry experience.
I am currently doing my fieldwork training in Employee State Insurance Corporation. I am learning on practical insights about the benefits that are being availed by the insured persons.
I am currently undergoing fieldwork training at the Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), where I am gaining practical exposure to various social security schemes, including the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) and the Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance (EDLI) scheme. Through departmental rotations within the EPFO office, I am learning about the operational processes, documentation, and forms related to these schemes, which has enhanced my understanding of employee social security administration.
I successfully completed my third-semester fieldwork training at the Office of the Joint Commissioner of Labour, where I gained practical exposure to the implementation of labour legislations aimed at protecting the rights of unorganised sector workers. During this training, I had the opportunity to observe labour court proceedings, particularly cases related to the Workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923 and the Minimum Wages Act, 1948. This experience enabled me to develop a strong and practical understanding of labour laws and their application.
I successfully completed my summer internship training at Neyveli Lignite Corporation India Limited (NLCIL), where I gained practical exposure to the functioning of the Learning and Development Centre. During the internship, I learned how employee training is systematically planned and delivered through Training Need Analysis (TNA) to ensure continuous skill development. I also conducted a research study on e-learning practices among employees of the Learning and Development Centre, and the findings indicated a positive response towards digital learning initiatives.
I successfully completed my second-semester fieldwork at Sakthi Vidiyal, where I gained hands-on exposure to working with vulnerable children, including street children, runaway children, and abandoned children. During this fieldwork, I learned how care, protection, and rehabilitation services are provided to support their overall well-being. I also developed an understanding of how child rights are protected and promoted through community-based initiatives such as evening learning centres in areas inhabited by economically and socially disadvantaged communities.
