Mumbai Metropolitan Region
My interests are broadly in economics, especially climate and development economics, and finance. These days, I am exploring and downloading insights on interesting topics in economics and finance, businesses, public markets, and public policy, and leading research at the Saaf Paani project for urban water sustainability. Previous work includes a critique of urban resilience, downscaling and developing SDG indicators for a urban area using existing data, visualizing demographic data, and investigating and harmonizing stakeholder visions of a multi-organization open data utility.
Helping global clients publish economics, business, and finance literature in top tier journals/publishers.
I led research for the Saaf Paani project at Above Ground, a new-age sustainability practice. Saaf Paani, meaning clean water, project seeks to address the clean water challenges in the city of Mumbai across the realms of information, people, resources, and systems. Using both primary and secondary research methods, I have worked on structuring and refining the existing research process, and helped reorient the project goals accordingly to ensure fidelity with addressing the key questions we have. Our new process has helped narrow down the scope of problems, highlighted areas of potential solutions, and opportunities to leverage existing and new-age distributed public infrastructure technology to build them.
