This Product (Engine) focused position performs established technical tasksat the subsystem and components level for current and future product within Engine Business Unit (EBU) of Cummins India. This involves work across many steps in the Product life cycle. As a product centred position it is very often a central point of coordination and decision making between plant engineers, customer & supplier teams, purchasing/sourcing teams and CFT forums.
Dual product/customer focused position acts as technical liaison between the Cummins field service organization and the Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing organizations to proactively identify, define, and prioritize product issues and to implement both short-term and long-term solutions.
