For as long as I could remember, I want to do something significant concerning people and the environment. I want to play a part in finding ways to combat global problems, be it pollution, greenhouse effect, acid rain or finding cleaner ways of conserving energy. Or do my part as a Chemical Engineer in ending starvation, disease and poverty. The goal is simple- to make the world a better place. I started with an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering. To learn further, I enrolled in UT Dallas to gear up knowledge for my ambition. I make constant efforts to make each day count. After having my bachelor’s degree, I worked in Solar, Wind, Electric Utility and Oil & Gas Industries, as a Graduate Engineer and Project Engineer where I performed full cycle engineering duties such as assisting with designing, planning, modelling and commissioning. The knowledge from this experience will take me a step ahead for industry work on strategies resulting in lower cost to the company. At a point in time, I realized that if I want to take a big leap, I have to expand my knowledge and experience. Hence, I decided to do Masters in Energy Management, studying the core competencies of energy – Energy Finance, Energy Sustainability, Solar and Power Economics Policies, Financial Accounting, Spreadsheet Modelling, Analytical Skills, Finance Modelling, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, SCADA, HMI and FMEA (Failure mode & effect analysis) Currently, I am working to grow APEnergy where we develop projects to reduce costs through energy efficiency expertise and utility incentive management. My job starts from analyzing the technical data to project design, implementation and project funding. I am a Curious, inventive, and a pragmatic professional with 6+ years of work experience. I enjoy meeting new people and hearing new perspectives. Reach out if you want to talk to me about new developments in the energy markets, EnergyAI or chess.
