Prashant leads the Financial Services Sector for IBM Consulting in UK and Ireland and the Banking Industry across EMEA. In this role, he has the P/L responsibility of IBM's consulting business that supports financial services organisations in the region across business transformation, technology strategy, implementation and delivery. Prashant has built 25+ year distinctive record as a global business leader in financial services. Prior to IBM, he worked with Citi for number of years as the head of technology for EMEA Treasury. He was also the SVP for Polaris in UK where he grew a nascent business to mainstream, working with most tier 1 banks in UK. He also started a technology company that build electronic trading platform for the Indian stock market. Prashant has in-depth experience of shaping and leading Digital Transformation Programs with banks that have exploited the power of Cloud and AI to significantly improve customer experience. Prashant graduated with a bachelors degree in Computer Science from IIT Roorkee and Masters in Finance & Marketing from XIM Bhubaneswar. He also has a Diploma in Strategy from Said Business School, Oxford. He lives in London.
