As a Senior Member Technical at D. E. Shaw, I leverage my expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms to solve complex and challenging problems. I joined this prestigious organization in October 2023, after honing my skills at Nutanix and Goldman Sachs, where I contributed to the development of front-end and back-end applications for testing and compliance domains. I graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi with a Bachelor of Technology degree in Engineering in 2021. I also hold a certification in Algorithmic Toolbox from Coursera, which demonstrates my proficiency in designing and implementing efficient and reliable algorithms. I am passionate about driving meaningful change by harnessing cutting-edge technologies such as Spark, ExpressJS, HTML, and CSS. My goal is to make incremental yet impactful contributions to our community and the world.

• As a part of the GSAM Surveillance team, I worked towards developing codebases to automatically flag trades involved in illegal practices such as pre-arranged trading, Intraday market manipulation. • Led the successful onboarding of NNIP onto GS compliance systems by designing and developing a scalable data flow system from scratch using Spark technology. • Achieved an 83.3% increase in Hadoop-based surveillance efficiency and a reduction in run-time by optimizing the code, eliminating redundancy and improving overall system performance • Incorporated surveillance measures into our Alerts and monitoring systems (ALAMO), resulting in enhanced security and comprehensive coverage. This led to improved accuracy in identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Designed and developed the backend of a car service provider, providing a fast and optimized solution that meets all the known use-cases. • Configured the Spring Oauth 2 server to enable role-based authorization, ensuring secure access to the backend system. • Developed a dashboard app from scratch to provide employees at the service centre with at-a-glance views of key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the business, enhancing their ability to monitor and manage operations.
• Optimized the scheduling process for employees by adding a Scheduler and Planner into the employee portal, replacing the previous whiteboard-based scheduling method with a more efficient system that requires just a few clicks. • Augmented the Lead Transfer operation from a single-unit process to a bulk process, reducing the relocation time significantly. Additionally, used a mailing feature to generate a detailed report of the operation for easy tracking and management. • Received the ZunStar Award for exceptional work within the company, recognizing the quality of the work performed and the positive impact on the organization. Recognition- Was praised and honoured by the CEO of Zunroof, Mr Pranesh Chaudhary and received Monthly ZunStar Award for exceptional work.
