Worked as Manager Production & PPC. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Production for Meters: Responsible for production of Water Meters as per the production plan. Nominated as “Lean Promotion Specialist (LPS)” and responsible for implementing Manufacturing excellence in plant. Training the new joiners on the process to be carried out and technical knowhow of the product. Imparting training on tools such as 5S, KAIZEN etc. to shop floor associates. 2. Responsible for Production Planning and Control of Water Meters and it’s sub-assy’s. Forecasting the requirement of the product based on past sales and preparing monthly plans. Circulating the requirement to purchase for timely availability of raw material for production. Scheduling the in-house production based on any pending sale order and issuing work orders accordingly. Inventory management by monitoring the stocks and ordering as per the production plan. 3. Project Management for Energy Meters: Responsible for localizing production of Electricity and Gas Meres (Energy meters) in India. 4. Selected as Project Manager for Plant Re-Layout project worth 150k$. Notable Attainments Selected as “LEAN PROMOTION SPECIALIST” for ITRON – INDIA. Reduced Inventory (both RM & FG combined) from 21% to 14% of COGS against a target of 12%. Selected as Project Manager for localising Energy Meters. Selected as IMPACT Manager – an initiative to reduce cost in all spheres of Operations. Worked as a core member if CFT for localising Brass Bodies for Water meters.

Responsible for Production Planning and Control of LPD (Line Protection Devices). Sub-Contracting: Responsible for loading the sub-contractors by 57f4 or excise documents and ensuring that they are loaded as per their capacity. Ensuring the sub – assemblies of right quality and quantity are delivered in time to streamline the production at INABB.
