As a Senior Engineering Manager, I lead teams dedicated to creating tools and platforms that empower developers to innovate, collaborate, and deliver high-quality software efficiently. In my current role as the Domain Lead for Developer Enablement, I focus on building scalable solutions that streamline development processes, enhance productivity and compliance. Whether it's through automating workflows, optimising CI/CD pipelines, or improving developer experience, our goal is to enable our teams to deliver exceptional products that drive our business forward.
Contribution is as - • Manager – Heads a 24/7 team to maintain SLIs (Error Rate, Latency, Saturation, Availability) for applications across regions using automated alerting on trends from monitoring systems and troubleshoot customer issues as Level2. • Manager – Continuous monitoring system defined and implemented coupled with tools like pager duty for alerting to help in timely identification of issues. Auto-remediation applied to known service issues as per the KEDB. • Manager – Identify trends for resource usage/scaling thus implementing capacity planning, cluster implementation/auto-scaling for HA, optimization, cost-cutting for datacenter and cloud-based systems (AWS). • Manager – Coordinate with the Engineering team for standardization. Provide inputs in CABs for product design and architecture and raise problems/incidents for the same. • Individual – Part of specialist team for middleware, CDN and other POC on new technologies conducted for optimization and growth like docker, Kubernetes and AWS components. • Individual – Work on automation projects designed for automated capacity planning, prediction analysis, usage trackers, correlation dashboarding, automated architectural diagrams, dependency charts.
• Issue triaging, providing workaround, gathering RCA and providing hot fixes for GWT framework-based Java applications following a CICD pipeline process with continuous testing. • Implementation of monitoring system including Nagios, Prometheous, New Relic and Graylog for better identification of issues and finer troubleshooting. • Working on docker services and setting up of docker swarm for high availability along with faster and automated deployments with zero downtime approach.
• Providing Insights to Foreign Clients based on Analysis done on Business Transaction Monitoring results combined with Tag Analysis Data. • Configuring Business Transaction Monitors via Dynatrace UEM and Synthetic and combining the results with Google Analytics and Web Trends Analysis Data. • Providing Insights, RCA and CAPA to the Client for Business Transaction Performance issues.
