About

I am a board level professional with more than 30 years of experience across multiple industries including textile, paper, pharma, e commerce and manufacturing. I have worked closely with investors, promoters and global companies to build, revive and manage businesses. My core strength is turnaround of stressed assets. I have worked on sick and closed units where the situation involved financial stress, operational gaps, legal issues and stakeholder pressure. I bring a practical approach to revive such businesses by focusing on cash flow, operations, team building and stakeholder confidence. I have handled insolvency situations, NCLT driven transitions, and post acquisition revival. I understand how to restart a business from ground level including dealing with unions, creditors, compliance, licenses and old plant and machinery. I have been part of the board in multiple companies backed by global investors and sovereign funds. My role has involved protecting investor interest, improving asset value and taking tough decisions including revival as well as closure of unviable businesses. In the last few years, I have been actively involved with THG Ingenuity and Myprotein, part of THG plc, where I am supporting business growth and market development in India. I also worked as Business Head at Ballarpur Industries Limited where I played a key role in revival of the unit after insolvency. The plant had old systems, workforce challenges and creditor issues. Through structured planning, negotiation and execution, we were able to restart operations and make the unit viable. I have also worked on revival of ETCO Spinners and handled complex cases like Aircel, AskMe and Bush Foods where business closure and asset protection were required. My approach is simple. Understand the problem, build the right team, take clear decisions and execute with discipline.
