I am passionate about prototyping ideas and creating innovative solutions to real-world problems. I hold a master's in computer science and a certification in Android programming. I am also an active supporter of diversity in STEM and a co-founder of LinkedIn's Women in Technology initiative. My mission is to enable teams to grow and succeed in a repeatable and predictable manner, while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

I headed engineering at Discord with a focus on strategically scaling the product and infrastructure behind Discord.
I led the R&D teams for Feed, Sharing, and Content Platform teams at LinkedIn, focused on reimagining the conversation and knowledge sharing experience on LinkedIn. Recognized by Business Insider amongst most powerful female engineers in Tech (https://www.businessinsider.com/the-most-powerful-female-engineers-of-2018-2018-4#no-21-prachi-gupta-director-of-engineering-linkedin-19) Previously, led engineering for Messenger, Groups, Identity Engagement and Insights teams at LinkedIn. These include products and frameworks like LinkedIn messaging, real time platform, InMails, Groups, Skill Endorsements, Who Viewed My Profile/Mirror, Profile Recommendations, Year In Review, Site Promotions, Microsites etc. I co-founded various programs at LinkedIn that drove the spirit of innovation forward, such as: * Conceived and piloted LinkedIn's current development model used across all of engineering * Developed features and frameworks that helped increase membership growth by >15%. * LinkedIn labs site * LinkedIn's internal and public hackathons. * Internal and public events promoting and encouraging Women in Technology. * LinkedIn [in]cubator; a program to drive grass roots innovation at Linkedin.
Led the relaunch of the LinkedIn Groups product and helped open and establish LinkedIn's San Francisco office.
Led engineering teams behind several LinkedIn products such as Endorsements, Who Viewed your Profile, Year In Review and LinkedIn Microsites. Co-founded and ran LinkedIn's internal incubation program and helped trademark "[in]cubator" and "eat hack !sleep" for LinkedIn. Originated and organized hackathons around the world to support and encourage young innovators. Co-creator of "DevelopHer" the first women-only hackathon in the Bay Area at the time.
